Couples Counselling
When your relationship has hit some bumps in the road I’m here to help you create a smoother path.
Life can feel confusing, lonely, and frustrating when relationship challenges arise. Whether you're feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or caught in constant arguments, relationship counseling can transform these struggles into opportunities for deeper connection, security, and satisfaction.
You've come to the right place if you're seeking to deepen, enrich, and enliven your intimate relationship. Relationships inevitably face challenges, but with the right support, you can navigate these rough times, effectively manage conflicts, and cultivate a stronger, more authentic connection.
Our sessions aim to
Acknowledge and build on the strengths already present in your relationship.
Heal and develop healthy patterns to address areas of challenge.
Deepen how you hear and understand each other
Foster a deeper, more authentic, and nurturing connection.
What to expect working together?
I'll conduct a thorough assessment of your relationship through both couple and individual sessions, identifying strengths and challenges. We'll then implement research-based interventions focused on the Sound Relationship House Theory.
During this assessment, I strongly encourage you to enrich your experience by completing the online Gottman Relationship Check-up. Our goals using Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflict, increase intimacy, remove barriers, and enhance empathy and understanding within your relationship.
My methodology
I primarily utilise the John and Julie Gottman Method in relationship counseling, drawing from other relevant methodologies as needed to enrich our sessions.
You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. Together, we'll equip you and your partner with the insights, skills, tools, and strategies needed to create lasting and healthy changes in your relationship.
Here are the levels of the Sound Relationship House that we'll explore and implement supporting strategies during our time together.
